If diagnosed early, PAD is treatable; if not, it can lead to amputation, even death. Patients with ulcers and wounds should be referred immediately, as they may already have critical limb ischemia (CLI). Minimally invasive, image-guided procedures improve patients’ comfort, safety, and outcomes.
