General Surgery

Dr. Ha is among the most experienced surgeons in our region for elective and emergency surgical services.  He has received extensive training in a broad spectrum of generalsurgical procedures such as laparoscopic surgery, acute care surgery, surgical critical care and trauma.  He also performs diagnostic tests such as endoscopy.

Dr. Ha completed his surgical internship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and relocated to New York City’s St. Clare’s Hospital to complete a 3-year surgical residency.  Additional residency training in cardiology and oncology was completed at Rochester, Minnesota’s Mayo Clinic and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.  Dr. Ha has worked at many prestigious medical groups across the country as well as Level I and Level II Trauma Centers such as Jersey Shore Medical Center and Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical Center.

Dr. Ha is fellowship trained and double board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Surgical Critical Care.  He has a strong interest in academic teaching as well as research to be able to offer his patients new treatment options and continually strive to improve patient care.
