Dr. González received his medical and surgical degree, ranking in the top 10% of his class at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in México. After completing an internal medicine internshipat Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, New York, Dr. González went on to complete his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Due to his interest in spine and musculoskeletal pain, he pursued his post-graduate training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey, serving a Kessler Rehabilitation Institute Fellowship in musculoskeletal spine and interventional pain management. Dr. Gonzalez has received extensive training in comprehensive spine, musculoskeletal, interventional and diagnostic procedures.
As member of the International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and North American Spine Society, Dr. González has published articles in professional journals and actively pursues continuing education in his specialty.
Dr. Gonzalez specializes in treating spinal pain conditions, and musculoskeletal problems. Using a variety of methods and treatments across several medical disciplines, his goal is to make certain every aspect of a person's pain is examined and treated according to their individual needs. His fellowship training, excellent patient interaction, and multilingual skills give him unique insight when evaluating and diagnosing patients in his efforts to help them return to an active and productive lifestyle.
