Uri Napchan, M.D., Director, is a board certified neurologist who is also board certified in pain medicine with a sub-specialty in headache medicine.  He most recently practiced at the Montefiore Medical Center’s Headache Center, the first of its kind in the world. 

He completed his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA and a fellowship in pain medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.  He completed additional fellowships in headache medicine and neuroscience at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY.  He was also an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.  He is a guest lecturer on topics in headache medicine as well as having published numerous articles and studies.  Dr. Napchan is trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
