Patients who may have PAD should be tested—it's more than a pain in the leg.

If diagnosed early, PAD is treatable; if not, PAD can lead to amputation, even death.

Patients with ulcers and wounds should be referred immediately as they may already have critical limb ischemia (CLI), which can lead to amputation. Minimally invasive, image guided procedures improve patients' comfort, safety and outcomes.
