Emergency Medicine

Dr. Rogove earned her Medical Degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she completed with honors a Surgical Intensive Care Unit internship as well as courses in Pharmacology, Infectious Diseases and Diagnostic Radiology. She remained at SUNY Brooklyn and completed an intensive internship in General Surgery and then went on to do an Internal Medicine internship at Staten Island University Hospital, both of which exposed her to a broad spectrum of patient issues and related care.

Dr. Rogove completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center (BHC) and was appointed Academic Chief Resident. During this time she was involved in several research projects, two of which culminated in presentations at the national conference for The Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. Upon completion of her residency, she became Attending Physician at BHC and joined the Faculty Department of Emergency Medicine, teaching and supervising emergency medicine residents and medical students. Her teaching experience continued when she joined the faculty and staff of Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, where she worked for many years in the Department of Emergency Medicine and has extensive experience in treating pediatric emergencies.

A dedicated and specialized physician, Dr. Rogove is a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Her comprehensive medical training has provided her with the expertise required to handle all phases of emergency and urgent care for both the adult and pediatric populations.
