JANNETH MONTOYA, M.D.
Internal Medicine
A cum laude graduate of the City University of New York's Medical School, Dr. Montoya also served as founder and president of its "Vision Latina" program. She received an academic excellence fellowship, conducting research and working in multiple primary care centers in Rio de Janeiro to treat the underprivileged. Her training continued at the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree. Her post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Primary Care was completed at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. She served internships in both Rheumatology and Primary Care and is board certified Internal Medicine.
Dr. Montoya has practiced for many years in various clinics and private practices in New York City as well as upstate New York. She is particularly interested in providing health maintenance for underserved and underprivileged communities. She is bilingual, and was born and raised in New York City.
