Petko Tatarski, M.D.

Dr. Tatarski is board certified in internal medicine and has been providing thorough and attentive care to his patients for over 20 years. He has experience in treating patients of all ages, with a special interest in digestive disorders. His expertise includes the successful care and management of persons with diabetes, asthma, hypertension, osteoporosis, obesity and high cholesterol.
A native of Bulgaria, Dr. Tatarski practiced in Brooklyn before moving to Oregon where he lived and worked in a multi-specialty practice for several years before returning to the New York area. He received his medical degree from the Higher Medical Institute in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and also served there as Fellow of Gastroenterology. He practiced in Bulgaria for several years then relocated to Brooklyn NY to complete his residency at Kingsboro Jewish Medical Center. In his free time, Dr. Tatarski enjoys playing tennis and practicing martial arts.
