Prestigious certification for our Urgent Care Center!

We have received the distinguished Certified Urgent Care designation from the Urgent Care Association of America.  This certification distinguishes our Urgent Care as a true urgent care center.  The physicians and staff provide patients

with walk-in, extended hour medical attention for a wide range of medical conditions and have met all of the Urgent Care Association’s established criteria.

The health care environment is changing and it is becoming more and more important for patients to understand their treatment options.  Urgent care is a convenient and viable option for medical conditions that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment with a primary care physician.  We accept unscheduled, walk-in patients during all hours of operation, seven days a week.  With this certification, we and the Urgent Care Association of America are demonstrating our commitment toward providing patients with access to appropriate levels of care.
Botox Approved for Migraines
The Headache Clinic at Middletown Medical, the first of its kind in Orange County, is offering Botox injections as a treatment for chronic migraines.  Recently, federal health officials approved the wrinkle-smoothing injection Botox for the treatment and prevention of chronic migraine headaches in adults. In a statement, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommended Botox be injected approximately every three months around the head and neck to dull future headache symptoms.  They approved it for patients who experience 15 or more days of migraine headaches per month.
Annual physical can be at no cost to you!
Many people don’t realize that their health insurance plan will pay for them to receive an annual physical by their doctor at little or no cost to them.  Over the past few years, health insurers have initiated programs that keep people healthy and encouraging individuals to receive an annual physical is part of those programs.  Unlike in the past, these exams typically do not have a co-pay or deductible involved. 
 
Annual physicals find and help treat problems and early intervention helps cure and even prevent diseases and disorders. During a physical, physicians can answer any health questions and may give recommended immunizations that protect from communicable diseases.  They may screen for a number of conditions, including cholesterol levels, diabetes and high blood pressure. Physicians may also screen for a number of common cancers, including breast, cervical, prostate and skin.
